Art War .

Wonderful! The upcoming Armory Show in Manhattan, New York, from September 8th to 10th at the Javits Center is a highly anticipated event in the art world. Since its founding in 1994, the show has grown into a prestigious platform that celebrates contemporary and modern art.

The event has been a significant platform for art galleries, both from New York and around the world, – Berlin, and various other cities will be participating, to showcase their artist’s work.

The show was founded in 1994 and has since become one of the leading events in the art world, attracting artists, collectors, dealers, advisors, agents, and art enthusiasts. The international participation contributes to the show’s reputation as a hub for contemporary artistic expression and innovation.

If you’re planning to attend, I hope you have a fantastic time exploring the artworks, engaging with artists and fellow attendees, and immersing yourself in the vibrant art scene that the Armory Show has to offer. I’ll be there on Sept, 8.

What’s neu L.A?

https://www.theartnewspaper.com/2023/08/28/ace-gallery-bankruptcy-auction-threesixty-asset-advisors

LA is a lonely place. It is for the strong and independent. In LA you will meet yourself:

Strong: you will thrive.

Weak: you will get lost.

Open minded: you will discover new paths and a different you. The angel will fly, the devil will grow horns.

LA is the city of the self – narcissistic and lonely, but may also lead to you. People will forget you, leaving you in peace. In LA you are free to lose or find yourself.

LA looks easy, but it isn’t. The city won’t help you. You are on your own. In NY the city is your master, in LA it’s you.

And nothing’s and nobody’s gonna change my mind : I only take job offers from/in/for the U.S.

Of the opinion that an innocent face suits the art market amazingly good.

TouchDown

Well, don’t touch the art.

Difficult, know, cause you’d love just to touch it a little bit

.. the brushstrokes of the famous painters

.. the surface of the canvas

Following with rising excitement all the colors, the materials, with your eyes,

to touch then, gently off course, special parts,

please!

An artwork is magic.

It is, ’cause it bears the soul of its creator, the artist, the painter.

We’re longing to know more about her or his motivation, its meaning

Think, could figure it all out ..

Head full of questions and curiosity.

Eyes can’t dive deep enough in all these hues. We love to touch!

It is indeed a different kind of experience, when you’re allowed to touch art.

But fall in love anyway.

Think about to fall in love every day:

With art.

With an amazing sunrise.

With your shower gel that smells like cherry blossom in Asia.

African bananas.

or orange trees in the European south.

Feel the fresh cool breeze outside, smell flowers, leafs and grass,

Wood, in the Scandinavian forests.

Love the sun or the rain, and be lovingly amazed by the innocence of snow.

Think about to fall in Love with the people crossing your path,

In the cities, the towns, small villages,

in the middle of nowhere, at the end of the world.

Love the animals, surrounding you each day,

or you just see by chance. What a great fortune!

Fall in love with huge mountains, cute hills, lush green trees and water, in all its forms and shapes.

The blue horizon, and the soft passing clouds. Candy floss!

How beautiful – oh gee – is nature!

Imagine to fall in love with North German bread and South German Apples,

Peaches from Georgia, Californian grapes,

and the perfect American Black Angus Steak, served in the States,

maybe,

if you’re lucky.

And if you don’t like all that, enjoy your kind of favorite food anyway.

Is there something you fancy?

Visualize to fall in love with books, even – or especially – if it’s a picture book.

Fall in love with music, voices, the lyrics, the melody.

.. The perfect memory, and a wonderful dream and plan about the future.

Assume to fall in love with your decision and personal perception, about how you like to feel and continue to see things, circumstances.

Fall in love every day.

You don’t have to touch it though.

Or?

Buy.

Bye.

Impressionism can’t go wrong in our society today, and so the times change:

at its beginning, at the end of the 19th century, it wasn’t Everybody’s Darling, even though it could capture an optimistic view of the world.

Painters who ventured outdoors, into nature for the first time. Painters who had the pleasure of using paint tubes for the first time that made traveling easy and alluring at the same time.

Something new! Being able to feel the wind on your face when engaging with what you want to paint, various seascapes and landscape painting. Being in touch with nature, or even more so, right in the midst of it.

Impressionisms, perhaps truly the most beautiful thing that art has to offer, namely idealized environment in harmonious colors, happy people, simply put: peace, joy and harmony.

Impressionism is like a dessert that we enjoy after a light summer meal. Perhaps an airy zabaglione – with whipped eggs, Marsala, and white wine – letting it melt gently on the tongue with closed eyes.

Impressionism doesn’t polarize either, it’s loved, maybe even more by those who aren’t familiar with art, as they’re purely engaged with their heart or gut, while the connoisseur or scientist can’t switch off the mind.

Art is an emotional approach and Impressionism is the favorite child, the whitest sheep, the icing on the cake of a mastery that nowadays outdoes itself with the wildest ideas.

Impressionism is quiet.

Shhh!
